Grammar Stage (4-10)
At Wisdom Worth Having, the Grammar Stage lays a strong foundation of knowledge, virtue, and wonder through a distinctly Christian classical approach. We suggest prioritizing memorization, ordered facts, and joyful mastery of fundamentals while saturating every subject with a biblical worldview. Our goal is to cultivate young hearts and minds that know God’s Word, revere His creation, and are equipped with the tools of learning for a lifetime of wisdom and service.
Logic Stage (11-13)
At Wisdom Worth Having, the Logic Stage shifts from simple memorization to ordered thinking, questioning, and discernment. We teach students how to think, not just what to think, while grounding them deeply in a Reformed biblical worldview. This is the stage where young people begin wrestling with ethics, apologetics, morality, and political questions using logic as the essential framework. They learn to identify and dismantle fallacies, construct sound arguments, and apply biblical truth to the pressing issues of our day. Alongside rigorous academics, every student is expected to dedicate at least one focused hour each day (and often more) to mastering a personal skill — whether it be a sport, coding, carpentry, cooking, electrical work, engineering, entrepreneurship, or building a small business. This habit forms disciplined, capable young men and women who can think clearly and work with their hands.
Rhetoric Stage (14-18+)
At Wisdom Worth Having, the Rhetoric Stage is where knowledge, logic, and skill converge into mature expression and purposeful action. Students learn to speak and write with clarity, conviction, and persuasive power — always grounded in biblical truth. Theology remains the unshakable foundation, but by ages 14–15 students should be actively encouraged to develop a clear vision for their lives and to become hyper-focused on their calling. For many, this means dedicating a large portion of each day to rigorous Skill Training in marketable, real-world competencies. Whether pursuing aviation, engineering, coding, trades, business building, or any other vocation, students learn to solve problems from first principles, design their own pathways, and produce tangible value. The ultimate goal is to raise young men and women who think deeply, communicate boldly, work diligently, and glorify God through excellent service in the marketplace and in His Kingdom.
