Bible: Students will master Bible basics — the plan of salvation, the books of the Bible in order, key events in redemptive history, and their theological significance. Our biblical studies emphasize reading Scripture in context, allowing the text to speak for itself with clear illustrations, revealing the richness and unity of God’s Word. We teach the biblical pattern of Law before Grace, lead children to the Father through the Son, and nurture their growing personal knowledge of Christ as the center of all wisdom.

 

English: We equip every student with the essential tools of clear communication — strong spelling, grammar, punctuation, style, and vocabulary. Students write frequently and correctly across all subjects, learning that clear writing flows from clear thinking. We immerse them in the Bible as the greatest model of literature and introduce them to other high-quality works that reflect truth, beauty, and goodness.

 

History and Geography: Students learn that God sovereignly rules over all history and directs it toward His purposes. We help them see God’s hand at work in the rise and fall of nations, with special emphasis on the story of Western Civilization and the advance of Christianity. Studies begin with local and familiar history and geography, expanding outward year by year to encompass the world. We make the past come alive through biographies, timelines, maps, art, music, literature, field trips, and hands-on activities so that students develop a grateful and discerning understanding of the heritage they have received.

 

Mathematics: Students achieve mastery of arithmetic facts, tables, and procedures while developing conceptual understanding through story problems and real-life applications. Mathematics reveals the consistency, order, and beauty of God’s unchanging character and the gift of reason He has given humanity. We follow a rigorous, sequential path that ensures solid foundations (typically aligned with strong programs such as Saxon Math or equivalent), allowing flexibility for individual pacing so students can advance as far and as fast as their abilities permit without disrupting their overall education.

 

Reading: Phonics serves as the primary foundation for decoding, with the aim that every child reads confidently and fluently by the end of first grade. We carefully build comprehension, oral expression, and word-attack skills while introducing students to the very best children’s literature — stories that are true, noble, and lovely.
